A Basshole After My Own Heart! And other GG news.

Here’s a quick recap, in case anyone hasn’t seen the previous post, and missed the episode, here’s a teensy taste at one of the most topsy-turvy plot twisted episodes in the history of GG.
While Blair spits out Chuck-swears like a sailor on leave, she falls further in…love? with her dear Lord Marcus, but B’s getting a little anxious to meet her Lord’s Queen Bee, or should I say, Duchess?
Serena and Dan can’t seem to keep their hands off each other, or their tongues out of each other’s mouths, long enough to discuss their “relationship problems” but let’s face it, what girl in her right mind would have a problem with Dan’s hands all over her? (Seriously, if you’re one of those girls, you need to let us know!)
Meanwhile Nate Archibald’s family is about to sink into the depths of…middle classness? as the FBI threaten to take all their possessions if no one fesses up to where Cocaine Dad is!
And what about the new addition…Catherine, formerly known as Nate’s married love interest but oh, how she turns out to be so much more! Catherine’s the Duchess and no she doesn’t have to be an old hag to hold the title, she’s Marcus’s Stepmother! Who saw that coming? And while Catherine intends on ruining Blair’s relationship with her step-son, Blair uncovers that Catherine has a certain fondness for “adolescent exes”, namely Nate. And how does B. address the situation…the only way she knows how..BLACKMAIL! Looks like the Duchess has met her match.
There’s someone that hasn’t been mentioned yet, and that’s because I’d like to take a moment to formally declare my love for Chuck Bass! I never thought I would say this, but this Basshole, is no mother chucker! Pining after B, he steps up to the plate as the “Love Assassin” and although he too does some shady things to try and win B. over, we can see he’s hurt. He actually has feelings! What girl doesn’t like a man that will fight for her, and I think B is starting to notice! Not only that, but how about his chivalrous efforts to help out his best friend Nate! Selling his club to loan money to the family? How’s that for selfless?? Looks like Chuck’s really coming around, and he can come around to my house anytime. But is this behaviour a one shot deal? or is his selflessness and passion here to stay?
