Let’s face the facts, Gossip Girl Season 1 was heavy on the lies and it seems that Season 2 will be no different, but what happens when the tables are turned, and our Uptown boys and girls have become pros at lying to themselves…

While B and C continue to play their sordid game of cat and mouse, their passionate hatred only reveals their true passion for one another. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, but here’s something to take the edge off- no, not a gin martini, a Lord. Looks like B’s fake boyfriend “James” might have some real potential.

Meanwhile, here’s the surprise of the Season so far, Dan Humphry a Playboy?? Talk about lying to yourself… But oh yes, the situation gets far more complicated when Dan walks in on another big lie, N and S. Turns out their relationship is one big hoax, or is it? Sometimes good friends make the best boyfriends, and I think S knows that best. Though things might seem peachy keen between D and S now, you never know when things can turn on their heads.

And what’s more refreshing than a summer party in the Hamptons, dinners on the fresh cut lawn, and a big ad placement for Vitamin Water? J’s new attitude. Seems like the new Jenny has taken those lessons from Queen B to heart and used them to get herself ahead in her work. Good job little J.

Will D and S last a second time around? Will C ever be able to admit those “three words-eight letters” to B? Will N find pleasure or pain with his married mistress?
