Introducing…
Hi Gossip Girl fans, J.Sto here. There’s one day to go before a fresh, new season of drama featuring our favourite group of Upper East Siders is unleashed on us. Why do I love Gossip Girl? Well come on, I mean, what’s not to love? For starters, these ladies are amazing. The guys are pretty cute too. I’ll admit it: S and B are my new fashion muses. While Serena works the rebellious, natural beauty with tribute to our friend Kate Moss, Blair goes for meticulously groomed Park Avenue princess. My own personal style falls somewhere between the two. I love the New York backdrop- it’s easily one of the most incredible places in the world. I also think that Chuck Bass is one of the best characters on television. I know we’re supposed to hate him, but I love every moment that he’s on screen (especially when he’s with Blair, because those two have some amazing chemistry, whether they’re loving or hating each other). Could there be more to look forward to in the coming season? I know I couldn’t be more stoked!
Now for some 411 on yours truly: I love words–talking, writing, reading, learning new ones. I am passionate about fashion, music and pop culture, and obviously I LOVE Gossip Girl. Some days I am bursting at the seams with emotion and I just can’t hold it in. I wear my heart on my sleeve. I smile when I don’t know what to say, and when I am nervous. Make me laugh and you’re in the good books. I’m addicted to the butterflies. I write song lyrics on post-it notes, I sing at the top of my lungs when I’m alone in my car. I can be oversensitive, over analytical and extremely self conscious; but I’m becoming more and more myself everyday. I guess that’s what grace is; the refinement of your soul through time. I adore my friends and my family. They mean the world to me. I do love the glitz and I do love the glam but I also cherish the simple things. The connections I make with the people who cross my path are what make my life textured and rich and worth living. I believe in destiny. I believe in love. Outfits are my great passion, my little pieces of art, my raison d’être. I’ve always loved putting together looks, and Gossip Girl has quickly become one of my biggest style influences. I’m inspired by what they’re wearing both on and off set all the time.
I’m beyond excited about the opportunity to blog here at GossipGirl.ca, giving you all the latest dish about what’s happening with the cast, the characters and the fashion on our favourite show. I sure hope that we can generate some good discussion in this forum too!
I know that you’ve seen all the tantalizing clips and posters online of what Gossip Girl’s second season has in store for us. Tomorrow night’s the night…finally!
