Major Disappointment!
ok ok ok….what in the hell is going on with GG?
I have to say I was not impressed. I missed it when it aired originally, and attempted to watch it online…I could not do it. I got as far as Chuck kicking Dan out of the car and I turned it off and waited for today.
Again, what in the hell is going on? This episode jumped way ahead of where the last one left off! I mean yes, ok, Blair and Serena are head-to-head for the Queen B position and OH SURPRISE Serena wins. No, not a surprise, a given, c’mon!
Where is this Amanda chick? She was a simple ploy to lure everyone in, to expect some crazy woman who will spread havoc among the elite. Instead she lasted one episode to grab ratings, to totally make this week seem like little-to-no sense.
We did however see more into Jenny’s story which is getting pretty interesting! She is a brave little lady, and her father is wayyy too easy going. She has grown up alot too, she almost looks like should could knock Blair out. Anyone noticed as well that she has one mean “glare”. It truly is amazing how many times these girls scheme, knive, lie, and decieve each other, all in a 45 minute epsiode! The storyline that continues to develop with Jenny and Blair, I really enjoy. If they became friends…it could be dangerous. *Fingers Crossed*
Guess Who Made the Cover?
Hey everyone!!
So I was hitting up some stores on the way home tonight and came across the October 6th issue of Us Weekly and guess who has the cover story? Leighton Meester!!!
I was the first to blog about Leighton’s scandalous story of being born to a drug smuggler mom in prison…and now Us Weekly has a 6-page spread in the mag telling her story! I know, I know tabloids are fabricated and full of BS butttt I think it’s groovy she has almost all of the cover!!!
I haven’t read the article yet, I was too excited not to go ahead and tell you all. I have peaked through the article and it looks decent. It’s not a bashing article it is actually enlightening and supports her so far as I can tell. There are also some old school pics of Leighton in it too! SO GO GET YOURS!!!
I have to say I have not bought a trashy tabloid in a long time but I am not ashamed that the first one I get suckered into again is one with Ms. Meester gracing the cover! I mean really, who would pass by that on a newsstand and not pick it up? It is obviously GREAT press for Leighton but definitely does the show all sorts of favours as well! It’s the old saying that all press is good press!
Let’s gossip about the gossip!
enjoy!

OMFGG #1 became available digitally on September 2nd – one day after the Season 2 premiere and the soundtrack will start flying off CD store shelves on October 28th.
I waited because…
Hello again!
I had to let the latest episode digest. It has taken me almost 4 days now to think about the latest episode before I actually put my thoughts into typing…
I don’t know what to think or how to feel. I like Blair being the Queen B. Serena seems like a whole “other” type of Queen B and I rather have Blair being the beeatch any day! There was something sacred and dare I say ’serene’ (lol) about Serena. She was innocent but still a part of the clique, and now from the looks of things she IS the clique! I dig her attitude, don’t get me wrong! She has every right to be fuming with anger from Dan and he deserved the bitter ending to the episode that he received…however I still say that Serena going back her “old ways” or just acting like a heinous beeatch (as previously mentioned) doesn’t know how to sit with me. Did I dislike the episode? hell no, it got better and better by the second.
Cougar traps all the young Cubs
And the award for most disgusting character goes to…Catherine Mason! That cougar can’t seem to get her claws into enough young cubs, let alone her very own stepson. I’m not sure if that little plot twist is dramatic or just thoroughly disturbing. What would you do if you found out your boyfriend is playing hooky with his own stepmother? Yuck!
On to the rest of the cast…it seems that S now stands for Satan! Step aside Queen B you’re about to get your title trampled on by your very dearest best friend. I’ll tell you what S doesn’t stand for…Sober, apparently this season calls for lots of potential A.A. meetings. I’m kind of excited to see the rise of the old Serena, but the true test is going to be if she can be a match to our resident bitch, Blair. I love Blair as the queen of manipulation, she did it so well in the first season, if S doesn’t live up to that GG viewers are going to be in for some major disappointments.
I know what you’re thinking… Where has she been all my life?
AB here, reporting from my boudoir in the city. Who’s this girl, you ask? That’s one secret I’ll never tell. By day, I can be found working for a cosmetic and parfum house; by night, I can be found working the room as a PR associate at the hottest fashion and entertainment events. After a busy day at the office, I escape through the glossy pages of W, British Vogue, a Grande Zen Tea, and of course, a good episode of Gossip Girl. An irresistable surge of energy resulting in the creative capacity that is AB - I’ll be here to make note of every juicy move. The leaves are changing colour, and Serena’s attitude is changing with the season. What do I have to say about that? It’s about time. The Queen Bee is buzzing. Stay tuned babes and boys.
Kisses,
AB
Ed, and Chace, and Drew? Oh My!
Greetings all! It has been a lonnnnng time for me (life gets in the way of blogging some how)
Butt here I am and with some fun gossip as always!
It has been rumoured that 33 year old Drew Barrymore, and 23 year old Chace Crawford have been dating! it started with them being spotted together at a Kings of Leon concert in NYC and then hitting up the Saturday Night Live After Party together. At both events the insider could only claim that they “were not hiding their relationship”.
You think thats juicy and crazy?
Us Weekly reported soon after that Drew was making out with Ed Westwick instead?
Regardless…Barrymore is getting down with one of the two hotties! woot woot! go Drew!

No More Vanessa PLEASE!!
Ever since she’s come on the show, I’ve wanted to kick Vanessa in the face.
She is always wandering around, not quite knowing what is going on, getting into everyone’s business.
Supposedly, she is this cool, rebellious, down to earth chick that doesn’t care what everyone else thinks…yet we see her in these stylish “wannabe artsy” clothes, heavily accessorized and wearing tons of make up.
Fine, that part is just for television. I will also give her the benefit of the doubt that she is “cool and rebellious” off-camera (according to Dan and Jenny) So what do we see in her on screen?
She came in first season, much to our annoyance, chasing Dan (who was “mean-to-be” with Serena). Then she sticks around as the go-to girl for advice which always turns out to be terrible. I’m not even exaggerating here. EVERY TIME she tries to help Dan, Jenny or even Rufus by essentially telling them to “do what’s in their heart” or to “be themselves” or whatever else the producers decide are hippie-like adages, it backfires on the characters (which may imply that these characters are also pretty crappy but we’re not going into that today).
How Many Times…?
Willful Muse here, your number one source into the scandalous lives of the UES elites.
Having watched the third episode, I must admit it wasn’t all that great. The oh so common elevator trap, black out make out…? Seriously, what happened to the originality of it all? And could it be that it’s finally over between S and lonely boy? Could B have seriously not known who it was at first to be repulsed by our scheming Chuck? And just why wasn’t “Lord Marcus” quick enough to get there before Chuck?
My interest in the third episode wasn’t at all at maximum level as when I watched the first season. But what can I say? We should all be grateful that there were stories beyond the first series and could only hope to watch many more exciting episodes in the future.
So I’m going to go on to the promo shown after the episode.
Spoiler ahead!
Dog walking with Leighton and Blake
The Gossip Girl cast was back to work in New York City yesterday but it looks like the dogsitters called in sick. Between takes both Leighton and Blake were taking care of their little dogs - makes you wonder if one of their on-screen personas might be adopting a pooch soon. Ruff.
