Spotted: Willful Muse at a local Starbucks!!!
Hey there Gossip Girl Fans, Willful Muse here. your one of many sources into the scandalous lives of Manhattan’s elite.
Spotted: Willful Muse was spotted at a local Starbucks enjoying a steaming venti-sized cup of Signature Hot Chocolate, busying typing away at her laptop.
Okay, so I’m back almost as good as new. My broken arm and knee caps are doing very well actually. Laying off of typing has helped quite a bit, but my addiction to blog isn’t kept away that easily. So I went to the doctor and practically begged her to shorten the length of my cast. And BAAM! It’s done.
I had to promise I would not doing anything to strain my arm though. Oh well, promises are made to be broken, right?
Here’s is the update on the previous Gossip Girl episode:
-Blair somehow ended up being desperate for Chuck.
-Serena is supposedly the key to ruining Blair’s future.
-The two got over it.
-Jenny shows up to Lily’s congratulatory party and totally ruins/livens up the situation by putting on a surprise fashion show, which turns out to be a totaly hit in the papers.
-Obviously, her father isn’t so keen on praising her after what she’s done.
-Jenny kisses Nate.
-Vanessa sees.
-Vanessa leaves, Jenny follows.
-Nate is left standing on his own, where he contemplates his sitaution.
-Nate is declared homeless by Dan.
-Fashion show ends, Jenny feels content.
-Her own father tries to arrest her.
-Lily to the rescue.
-S and B are BFFL in the end.
-Dan decides to write the story about Chuck’s life after all.
-Jenny leaves home with her belongings.
Tsk, tsk.
I must say that this episode was not of the best. Okay so, the two in the catfight about who goes to Yale makes up. The bratty little 15 year old Blair babysits turn out to be a deeply hurt daughter whose mother just doesn’t care. Jenny plans a fashion show with Agnes to crash Lily’s party. Chuck is suddenly the good guy who helps Blair. Dan kicks Nate out of his house, Jenny kisses Nate. Vanessa is pissed about it and goes off on her own. I mean, does this not sound practical to you? BFFs make up, Party is crashed by some teenager, bad guy turns good, a sister kisses her brother’s friend, and the peeved ex-girlfriend of that friend is stomping her way out… to me it doesn’t sound original at all.
Hopefully they show a more thrilling and exciting episode next time.
Will S and Lonely Boy somehow find their way to each other without knowing? And what about the coupling between B and Chuck? Jenny and Nate? What stands in their future? Watch the next episode of Gossip Girl to find out.
Okay GG fans. That’s it for today, I’m afraid.
I will update as soon as possible, but you should doubt it, since I’m usually not myself these days, what with all those pain medications.
You know you love me,
XOXO,
Willful Muse.
I waited because…
Hello again!
I had to let the latest episode digest. It has taken me almost 4 days now to think about the latest episode before I actually put my thoughts into typing…
I don’t know what to think or how to feel. I like Blair being the Queen B. Serena seems like a whole “other” type of Queen B and I rather have Blair being the beeatch any day! There was something sacred and dare I say ’serene’ (lol) about Serena. She was innocent but still a part of the clique, and now from the looks of things she IS the clique! I dig her attitude, don’t get me wrong! She has every right to be fuming with anger from Dan and he deserved the bitter ending to the episode that he received…however I still say that Serena going back her “old ways” or just acting like a heinous beeatch (as previously mentioned) doesn’t know how to sit with me. Did I dislike the episode? hell no, it got better and better by the second.
No More Vanessa PLEASE!!
Ever since she’s come on the show, I’ve wanted to kick Vanessa in the face.
She is always wandering around, not quite knowing what is going on, getting into everyone’s business.
Supposedly, she is this cool, rebellious, down to earth chick that doesn’t care what everyone else thinks…yet we see her in these stylish “wannabe artsy” clothes, heavily accessorized and wearing tons of make up.
Fine, that part is just for television. I will also give her the benefit of the doubt that she is “cool and rebellious” off-camera (according to Dan and Jenny) So what do we see in her on screen?
She came in first season, much to our annoyance, chasing Dan (who was “mean-to-be” with Serena). Then she sticks around as the go-to girl for advice which always turns out to be terrible. I’m not even exaggerating here. EVERY TIME she tries to help Dan, Jenny or even Rufus by essentially telling them to “do what’s in their heart” or to “be themselves” or whatever else the producers decide are hippie-like adages, it backfires on the characters (which may imply that these characters are also pretty crappy but we’re not going into that today).
All that is Dark comes to Light
A city wide blackout doesn’t seem to deter any scandal from rising to the top- in fact, all the darkness does, is bring things to light.
The lusty B discovers that propriety has its place, unfortunately that place is no where near the bedroom. Enter the crafty, if a little “frustrated”, Mr. Bass whose clearly been practicing his British accent! But what about the Duke…will he ever take the plunge?
The Duchess proves to be quite the masterful trickster, she even makes B look slightly amateur. The Duchess knows that some information needs to stay in the dark… and that’s her ticket to keeping Nate on a very short leash.
Alas, is it truly the end for S and lonely boy? While the light may shine on their love, it also shows how different their worlds truly are…but will love conquer all…again?
As the lights start to spark all over New York, Lonely boy lends support to his dear friend, lonely girl! The beautiful Vanessa finally eats her words, and understands what her good friend was so wrapped up in the season before…turns out the Upper East Side isn’t the simplest place to figure out … especially not in the dark.
xoxo, L.
OMG!
After wasting an hour in front of the TV watching Project Runway re-runs (that Christian is fierce!), the clock struck eight and it was time for the season premiere that I know you’ve all been waiting for. I excitedly flipped the channel to 166 (the CW - apparently it wasn’t showing on CTV). I can honestly tell you that I had the hugest grin on my face as I watched a brief recap of season one, anxiously waiting for the main event.
It didn’t disappoint. Everything that I love about the Gossip Girl series was there: beautiful clothes on beautiful young people, beautiful young people doing terrible things, and terrible drama between beautiful young people! This time, all of the drama went down in the Hamptons, where the rich and famous go for some R’n'R. All of our favourites made an appearance looking tan (well, except for Jenny, who spent most of her time interning in New York), stylish, and very hot.
