Those Summer Nights…

Allow me to introduce myself. I’m Sia (I would go with S, but I don’t want to be confused with a certain fictional bombshell) and I’m the newest blogger here on Canada’s Gossip Girl headquarters. Charmed, I’m sure. I’ll be sure to keep you up to date with the latest from the show and offer my own tips on how to live a Gossip Girl-worthy life, minus the drama (unless you want it!)
I’ve been a Gossip Girl fan since I first picked up the scandalous first novel and an even bigger fan since I started watching the deliciously addictive TV show.What can I say? I’m hooked on Gossip Girl! But can you blame me? Gossip Girl offers a look into the lives of young people who have it all: envy-inspiring clothing, stunning looks, and money coming out of the you-know-where, without the annoying vibes that come from those nouveau riche kids from the Hills and Laguna Beach and any of those other West Coast bores. And don’t get me started on the situations that they get into! Let’s just say that not every kid with money behaves like Richie Rich.
Anyways, enough with the introductions. It’s time to get to work.
So as all of you other students know, after tonight we’ll all be heading back to school. Some of you will be heading back into the minor grades or university while others, like myself, will be heading into our final year of highschool. We’ll be seniors, at last! But no matter what grade your going into, we can all agree that it sucks that this scorcher of a summer is at its end. But not to worry! We Canadians who can afford digital cable or satallite or whatever it takes to get those exclusively American channels have one sure fire way to finish this summer off right. That’s right: at 8 o’clock we’ll all be flipping to the CW to catch the long-awaited, often-hated premiere of the “worst show” on television: Gossip Girl!
What awaits us in this new and exciting season? Well, there had better be some answers to the questions that I know you’ve all been asking since Much ‘I do’ About Nothing. Will Blair and Chuck last? How will Serena cope without her beloved Mr. Humphrey? Will that annoying blonde try-hard make a triumphant return? Oh, and what’s with this MILF that we saw Nate getting busy with all over youtube? With these kids, it’s hard to make predictions. But even though summer is over, you’d better keep out the sunscreen because it looks like this season is going to be hot!
