Taytay here, giving you one look into the one who gives “the look” into the scandalous lives of the Upper East Side.

Okay, that was a little lame but what do you expect from a 19 year-old math major/film minor (aka me)?

The truth is, Gossip Girl - by all means a guilty pleasure of mine since I was 12- is a huge source of another kind of amusement. Seeing these so-called teenagers in their superficial, self absorbed, “elite” world is all good and well but there are also instances - let’s call them “loop holes” - which make the show worth watching all the more.

For example, when are bloggers cool? Really, that is what Gossip Girl is right? A blogger whose material relies solely on the actions of a group of people she stalks! Plus, this all started way before Facebook and Myspace, so you know she’s hardcore in getting her “information”. Creepy. [NB: I realize I'm a blogger but the fact that I used "NB" should be indicative enough on my "cool status"]

Anyways, now you know, future posts from me are not always going to be up to the standard “fangirl” caliber but I will have my moments. (Like when I was crazy about the whole Chair/Buck thing - before they messed up their relationship in the Finale - so I downloaded the Soho Dolls “Stripper ” song and I made a fan video putting all their moments in order so I could watch it over and over and over…)

*heh* I hope you enjoy reading my posts and don’t find me too crazy…
